As a large representative of the Working group, the Rottweiler brings together loyal, confident and courageous traits in a package that lives roughly 9–10 years. Exercise needs are moderate — daily walks plus play are usually enough, and grooming is low-maintenance. Expect to be charmed by how excellent guard dogs they are, and to plan around the fact that they can be can be aggressive without training.
